Caregiver, do you need prayer? Do you know someone who needs prayer?
Friends, we all know someone we prayed for who did not get healed. Does that mean we should quit praying? Absolutely not!
Why should we pray for healing?
1 John 5:14-15, declares that God will answer requests when they are prayed according to His will. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus demonstrated ultimate trust in God by articulating, “Yet not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).
Many caregivers have sent me texts or emails requesting prayer for being sick. In the midst of praying for various concerns, I pulled out this old prayer from my Bible. It is placed next to Psalm 34, where I wrote it years ago.
This was originally written, as a prayer, for the daughter of a friend of mine. Later, I published this prayer without telling the story behind it. It was not my story to tell then, and it is not my story to tell now. However, you may join me in this prayer for yourself or a loved one.
